ഹോട്ടലുകളിൽ MRP വിലയിൽ കൂടുതൽ ഈടാക്കിയാൽ എന്ത് ചെയ്യണം ? What to do if hotel charges more than MRP price?

നമ്മൾ ഹോട്ടലിൽ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാൻ പോകുമ്പോൾ Packaged drinking water തരുമല്ലോ, 20 രൂപ MRP ഉള്ള വെള്ളത്തിന് ബില് വരുമ്പോൾ 50 രൂപ.
എന്ത് ചെയ്യും?

അവിടെ കിടന്ന് ബഹളം വയ്ക്കാതെ അവർ പറയുന്ന തുക അടയ്ക്കുക. കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ card payment ചെയ്യുക, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ Cash Recieved എന്ന seal ബില്ലിൽ പതിപ്പിക്കുക.
എന്നിട്ട് Legal Metrology controller ക്ക് പരാതി കൊടുക്കുക. ബില്ലിന്റെ കോപ്പിയും അനുബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുക. ഒരാഴ്ച്ചക്കകം നിങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് അധികം ഈടാക്കിയ തുകയും, നഷ്ടപരിഹാരവും നിങ്ങളുടെ വീട്ടിൽ എത്തും; കൂടാതെ Legal Metrology യുടെ പിഴയും അവർ അടക്കേണ്ടി വരും.

The Legal Metrology (Packed Commodities) Rules, 2011 പ്രകാരം കേസ് ചുമത്തും . ഇത് എല്ലാ ഹോട്ടലിലും ബാധകമാണ്.
